The Countdown to Instant CloudMove Release Has Started
Downloadable assessment wizard and automated tools to transpose VB6 and .NET to rich HTML5-based ASP.NET
The groundbreaking solution transposes your legacy systems to run as the latest .NET (C# or VB.NET) HTML5 applications by automatically handling about 95% of the code. This leaves only a very small portion for manual adjustments which are done with the guidance of the solution's Mapping Studio, basically to bridge between desktop and latest web technologies. Instant CloudMove video
The complexity levels and the efforts and costs that would be needed in order to move the application to the latest .NET HTML5 technology are all known before starting the project, due to the free AssessmentTool's in-depth analysis.

Until our AssessmentTool supports VB6 as well, we recommend using the Microsoft Assessment Tool and sending us the results for analyzing VB6 applications to be migrated to .NET or Web/Cloud and Mobile.

.NET developer-friendly
The transposition outcome is a 100% pure .NET application with code written in either strict C# or VB.NET while further extension and code maintenance are all in a familiar and intuitive .NET development environment from Microsoft Visual Studio. DevTools video

Unique benefits: Windows 8 - Metro UI ready, in-process upgrading of the UI (customer choice) and code refactoring
Instant CloudMove is the only conversion tool that transposes your applications to use a pure HTML5 client that can be used on every browser, device and operating system – from cloud to mobile, from Microsoft to Android including the upcoming Windows 8 Metro UI. In the transposition process, the tools also allow (by customer choice) UI upgrades and legacy code modernization (refactoring) for the entire code or only selected parts due to outdated functionality, 'spaghetti', and the need to upgrade from single tier to N tier and from non-object oriented to object oriented. Microsoft to endorse Instant CloudMove
Microsoft partnered with Gizmox and will endorse the Instant CloudMove as a migration solution for VB6. The endorsement will present Instant CloudMove from Visual Studio with a link once the tools are released. DevTools video
Until released: the tools are being as offered as a service
Although the tools aren't shipped yet, they are operational within our labs and Gizmox offers the transposition solution as a service. Use one of the links above to run the assessment on your application, send us the results and we will quote you the cost and effort (including a detailed plan) to move and modernize your client/server application to the latest .NET and/or rich HTML5 ASP.NET application. We could transpose the code for you and let you do the manual work involved or offer the project as a Turn-Key. DevTools video
