Hi All,

We have uploaded the new unstable version 5.85 and turned 5.84.2 into the current stable version (actually this is one of the main reasons of why it took us so long to release revision 5.84.2 - we wanted to make sure you guys get the chance to report newly created bugs appeared in 5.84.1).

Version 5.85 contains some major fixes and exiting new features such as:

1. Inherited forms and user controls as in WinForms!!!

2. Drag&Drop improvements enabling dragging and dropping component level elements (such as TreenNodes, ListViewItems etc.)

3. Location & Size properties calculation fixes - enabling server side code to investigate the actual size of controls in runtime.

4. Click event’s X,Y coordinates are now available.

5. Design time Copy & Paste correction; so that now, copying and pasting controls won't clone events attachments as before...

And many more…

Furthermore, in a week or two we are about to release VWG's first official release 1.0R (build 6.0)...

I hope you guys will enjoy this version...

Silverlight CTP is also available for this version based on Silverlight Alpha 1.1.

The next VWG/Silverilght CTP version will be based on the newly released Silverlight 2.0 beta version!!! With improved performance and enhanced features and environment!!!

Oh, and one other thing... Next week I'll see that both 5.84.2 and 5.85 SVN branches will be fully updated with all of the assemblies enabling you guys to get & build SDK codes...

Regards,
Itzik Spitzen
