When we write issues and we know of a workaround, they are added to the issues. So, I'm sorry to say that none was suggested in this case. Not for the FCKEditor control at least.
You could go for wrapping any ASP.NET texteditor control and see if you can make it work. One such free control is addressed in this issue here, and the problems with using it after wrapping have been fixed, so it should be usable.
