Dear all,

   We created an application a visual webgui application in visual webgui 6.4 with .net framework 3.5. Everything it is fine. We deployed that application in a normal x86 server it is working fine.

But  now there is a problem with new itanium server hprx 2660. As the operating system in that itanium server is windows server 2003. We are unable to install the .net framework 3.5 on the itanium server with windows server 2003. But i got know that with windows server 2008 we can install framework 3.5 in that itanium 2 64bit edition server. So with out that upgradation can I install or deploy or sucessfully use the visualwebgui app.

So please kindly any body help me out.

Any help can be greatly appreciable.

Thanks for your kind reply. But my problem is not for 64bit systems problem with itanium servers.

We successfully deployed our app in windows servers 2008 and windows vista in which IIS is 7.0 . There is no problem with iis 7.

All my problem is with itanium servers. First of all we are unable to install .net framework 3.5 on itanium servers with windows server 2003 OS. But upon google search I found that it is possible by only installing windows server 2008.

But I have only windows server 2003 licence for my server. Even I cann't buy server 2008 licence at this moment. So could you please help me on this one.
