Re: FCKEditor

Hi James,

Yes, I did try it that way. Obviously doing something differently, as it seems to work fine for me in all my tests.

A sample would be greatly appreciated. Please make sure you include the fckeditor resources you use in your test, so we can see if there is possibly any mismatch there form the version I'm using.

Anyway, please clean the project, zip it and then email it to the support email address (see my signature). Remember to include in that email the full http reference to this thread. Please also post here when you have sent the email.

Palli,

If I take a simple form and add the FCKEditor to it naturally it works because there are few controls that is has to iterate through,  but it takes a real production application that has many controls on a form to reproduce the behavior.

If you take your Catalog example code and add the FCKEditor to the About form and turn Inline Windows on,  you can see the issue.   It happens when you press the Special Characters button or the Add Link button in the FCKEditor Control.    If you want me to send that example to you I can but you should be able to reproduce it in seconds with your published Catalog example code.

Thanks

James

Re: FCKEditor

Hi James,

Thanks for the update. There's no need for a sample as I was able to reproduce the delay using this scenario. Thank you for that.

I updated the description in the tracker entry and you should view it here and follow up on our progress. There are no promises though, but at least there is progress, as we now have what seems to be a consistent scenario to work with. I will notify the developers on that and we will have to see if they find a way to fix without destabilizing the framework.

Thanks again,

Palli
