Re: Form style on design time

Hi Jorge,

Please be aware of that threads are processed in date order of the last post in each thread, meaning that if you push your case by reposting on a thread, it will go all the way back in line and wait it's turn.

We got your images, and this looks like a designer from an earlier version 6.4 preview, and might even have been in the first beta1 released, not quite sure about that. I suggest that you uninstall your current Beta version and reinstall the most recent one, Beta1c at the moment. After you uninstall, please make a search for any non-license related Gizmox DLLs in your GAC to make sure everything is removed before you reinstall.

Please post your results,

Palli

Re: Form style on design time

Pally,

Same thing, no form title, and no ruler (only sometimes).
I even tried a new project,

Ideas?

Re: Form style on design time

Hello Jorge,

In this issue Guy Peled comments that the Form designer is now visually changed from VWG v6.4 Preview4.

Regarding the report that only sometimes there is no ruler, we were not able to reproduce this problem.
Perhaps you have a mixup of installations on your machine, or you are using sources.
I am not sure, but something is probably not set up well on your machine.

Re: Form style on design time

Ori,

About the ruler no problem, I don't use it and won't use it. It doesn't help on develop and just complicate things up.
No mixed instalations...

About the form designer, I must tell you, allow me the language, it really sucks to develop without it. I don't even know how can exist people that can work without it, but ok, if that's no longer present nothing to do.
No way to make it back?
Soon or later you'll (team) insert it again... I believe it'll happen!

Re: Form style on design time

Hello Mr. Bastos,

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing:
From what I understand, what you are missing is the blue frame around the Form work area that shows on top the minimize, maximize and close buttons. Is that really what you are referring to?
If it is, why is it useful to you?
Am I missing something here?
