Re: How do I download latest FCKLibrary dll?

Hi Garry,

Please view my response to you this thread here.

This link is not at all useless. You can of course use it for browsing the branches of the public sources, but the link is primarily intended for use in SVN clients, like Tortoise SVN client, to download or checkout the public source code for a given branch, or as in this case, for a given control.

Please note that at the time Ori wrote this post, FCKEditor was a seperate control, not included in the standard Visual WebGUI SDK controls. Now, the FCKEditor is included within the "out of the box" controls, and can be found in the Gizmox.WebGUI.Forms.Extended DLL library.

As I explained earlier, then in addition to the FCKEditor Visual WebGUI control, you will need to get the FCKEditor resource files and have them within your project's root folder in a folder named FCKEditor.

Using some SVN clicnet, like Tortoise, you can directly checkout the FCKEditor folder for a particular version by following this article here. You can use a browser to find out the exact SVN http address for the FCKEditor resource files of your version, by going to this path: http://72.55.165.182/svn/Public/Core/

Browsing that folder, you will find a trunk folder, which is our current working development version and direct SVN client's http path to the FCKEditor resources folder would be: http://72.55.165.182/svn/Public/Core/trunk/Gizmox.WebGUI.Forms.Catalog/FCKeditor/

If you have, say, version 6.3.15, you would browse through branches, to 6.3.15 and the FCKEditor's resources folder would be: http://72.55.165.182/svn/Public/Core/branches/6.3.15/Gizmox.WebGUI.Forms.Catalog/FCKeditor/

For version 6.4.0Beta2e it would be: http://72.55.165.182/svn/Public/Core/branches/6.4.0B2e/Gizmox.WebGUI.Forms.Catalog/FCKeditor/

So, you can use your browser to locate the exact http path you would give to your SVN client to checkout the contents of the folder, which you then paste into your project's root folder.

Hope this helps,

Palli
