FCKEditor Problem

It seems that the FCKEditor does not render when I use the Vista Theme in Visual Web GUI.  Any ideas on how to get around this problem?

Thank you.

Hi James,
I couldn't reproduce your bug. It is working for me.
Check for the following issues:
1.      Web.config file contains the definition for the FCKeditor control:
<Controls>
<ControlType="Gizmox.WebGUI.FCKLibrary.FCKEditor, Gizmox.WebGUI.FCKLibrary"/>

</
Controls>

2.      Folder 'FCKeditor' is the root directory of you web application.

If it doesn't, help please write back.

Re: FCKEditor Problem

I have that in the Web Config.  But when I use the Vista Themes the control does not display.  When I take out the Vista Theme the control works.  Is there a way to use the control with the vista theme?

Thank you.

Thanks,

Re: FCKEditor Problem
My issue does not seem to involve themes (using default), but will not render in my app.

Facts:
  1. Demo/Testing solution works fine on my system.
  2. I have:
  • Copied entire FCKEditor folder from demo/testing to root of my application directory
  • Added a reference (copy local) to FCKEditor DLL
  • Copied Controls entry to my config file
When it runs, I get an empty box where the control is, with appropriate background and border. But the rest of the control does not render, nor does it show content or allow entry/edit.

I am obviously doing something workng (or not doing something). Any help will be greatly appreciated.
