Re: .NETHTML5 updates and clarifications

I have a license for WinWeb.  All the controls that I am using are native VWG controls.

So here is are my questions:

1. Do I have to buy a new license to get the NETHTML5?  I don't believe that I would need the WINWEB if I had the NETHTML5 version.

2. Do I have to buy a new license to get Mobile?

3. Is there a migration path for my application?

Thanks,

Shawn

Re: .NETHTML5 updates and clarifications

Hello Shawn,

Thank you for these questions.

1.
.NETHTML5 is now in beta status and so it does not require a license.
If you already have a license for Pro Studio WINWEB you can continue to use it with Pro Studio .NETHTML5.
When .NETHTML5 is commercialy released, your Pro Studio license will initially be suitable for this media.

2.
It is currently too early to discuss licensing matters of the Visual WebGui Mobile Designated Framework.
Prior to it's commercial release, we will publish detailed information including all there is to know about Mobile Designated Framework licensing.

3.
Simply:
a) Uninstall Pro Studio WINWEB from your machine.
b) Install Pro Studio .NETHTML5 on your machine.
c) Open your solution in Visual Studio.
d) Clean the solution.
e) Build the solution.
f) Run your application.
It is a common good practice to follow the clearing cache procedure, whenever you swtich Visual WebGui versions. This situation is no different.
