 Hello Trung,

I created and uploaded a sample application to support at Gizmox, I'm not sure what will happen from there.  I'm not quite sure what you are refering to about auto-fill of the fields, but for example if you create a table of 2 rows and 3 columns, you can just keep adding to it and it will expand for every row.  If you mean you can use it as an input form, I'm not sure that is possible without a commercial version of Acrobat.

In any case, I hope the example will help get you started, you can use the iTextSharp libraries to also create RTF, HTML and XML reports also, and the gateway uses urlmon.dll to identify the MIME type so the gateway works with other types than PDF.

Good luck and best regards, Kenn

Re: Reporting and Printing using Open Source Libraries

 Hello,

Caveat, iTextSharp uses a stream that must be closed before it can be used by another process.  So in a server environment using the sample I supplied you cannot be sure you are getting the report you created.  You might want to include SessionId or something similar to the report name (or customer name or something unique).

Just a last minute thought, this example was not meant to be comprehensive.

Regards, Kenn

Re: Reporting and Printing using Open Source Libraries

Hi Trung, You are not being ignored, I would like to send you a sample app if you would be willing to share your e-mail address.

Hopefully, the app I sent to Gizmox support will show up someday.

Regards, Kenn

Hi Kenn,

As always we are very thankful for your contribution, and yes, the application will show up someday

Currently the person(s) handling the addition of the sample are multiply overloaded, but still it will show up some day.

Palli
