Server Requirements for Visual Web GUI

I am new to this product.

I develop using .NET 2. I still use VS 2005 for all my development.

I would like to know as to will Visual Web GUI work with .NET 2 and Vs 2005?

After we develop an application what have we to ship when we deploy the application. I tried to read all material I could on the web site but could not find any clear text explaining as to the target servers required for running app built using Visual Web GUI.

Can someone please give some idea on this please?

Hi Yogi,

To deploy your application you just need enable some OS features like IIS.

Server side:

- Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server (in development we use Windows XP Pro and Windows7)

- IIS6.0/7.5

- .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.5

Client side:

- VWG compatible browser (for example IE, FF or Safari)

- Adobe Flash (optional to file upload)

Welcome to Visual WebGui

In addition to Rui's comments (thanks Rui), then the reason you don't find much about this subject on the forums is because exactly the same recommendations apply to Visual WebGui as ASP.NET, as Visual WebGui is actually based on ASP.NET so you can use ASP.NET information to estimate your needs.

Don't hesitate to ask if you need any further information.
