anybody ever used Visual WebGUI on mono?

I'm wondering if anybody has successfully done this or if it is even at all possible for it to work in anything other than IIS.

I tried it briefly but it didn't work. I suspect at the moment that this is a problem with mono (or debian's packaging of mono2/apache2) based on the error messages but before I bothered to dig deeper to try to get it to work (such as trying it on other distros or installing it manually and tinkering) I wanted to see if anybody already knows if it's impossible.

VWG works fine on a linux server running Mono and Apache 2. I have never used VWG with IIS. My production target environment (and my test environment) is linux (OpenSUSE 10.2) / Apache 2 / mono.

Sorry, wrong information - my main test environment on my web server is Suse Linux 10.0. I was confused because my smaller test server at home is running OpenSUSE 10.2

I tried on Ubuntu 7.04, Apache 2 and Mono compiled from source (no updated packages available).
It works flawlessly even if debugging with VisualStudio is impossible.
What do you (guys in this thread) use for debugging? MonoDevelop?
