Hi,

I haven't used or installed a version of VWG since version 614. I have uninstalled VWG, removed all referevences to it from my PC. Removed all references to it in the registry. Cleaned the the registry. So I'm now working from a fresh setup.

I freshly installed visual web developer express with SP.

I then downloaded VWG 637a .NET 3.5 (I have .NET 3.5 installed on my PC).

However when all installed, I create a new Visual Webgui applicatiom. double click on the form and its blank. I can see the controls

on the VWG toolbox, but cannot drag any across.

any ideas anyone,

Just to be sure I uninstalled everything, opened express studio, made sure there were no references to visual webgui projects.

I then rebooted, downloaded the lastest NON-SOURCE version 6.3.7a (.net 3.5) of the SDK. Installed again and still the same problem.

When I install 6.4 preview it works fine, but i do not wish to work with that version yet.

Another update:

I have deleted the license file in:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Gizmox\Licenses

Now when I try to open a form it asks me to activate a "30 day trial" or "commercial" license

I downloaded the express version:  VWG_Express_Studio_6.3.7a_NET3.5.msi

Is this not LGPL?
