Hi Ryan,
This is strange. I just checked on my PC at work where I have Vista (this looks like Vista you are using right?). There I have installed and uninstalled many versions of both with and without sources, and the current folders just show the without sources structure, as that's the currently installed option.
How do you uninstall? Do you use the .MSI package, or do you use the Control panel?
Regarding the "macro" as you call it, it's not a macro. It's a VS2008 integration or addon that installs with an .MSI package and I will need some more work until I am completely satisfied with it. I was waiting for some comments from Ori about it, but maybe I'll send it to you via email and you can test. It's not an official utility, by a long shot. It's just my personal program written for timesaving. Using it, it doesn't really matter where the DLL's are. You just rereference and everything is done for ya. Latest addition was to upper the private version during the rereferencing. Watch your email. I'll send it soon and you'll have to use it at your own risk :-)
Regarding copying the DLL's to the GAC, then I think that will really complicate things for you. Don't know if you can debug that way, but for some reason Gizmox decided to move their DLL's out of the GAC, where they were to begin with. I presume that was because of some conflicts ppl were having with it there.
