Re: Registering the .WGX extension on IIS7

Hi Palli,

No matter what I do, I cannot get .wgx working under IIS7. Under IIS6 it is a breeze.

Anyway, I took the route of the second post you mentioned and changed to .ashx and now all is working fine, and I don't have to tell my clients to register .wgx anymore.

So much less painful this way :)

Thanks for your help.

Re: Registering the .WGX extension on IIS7

Hi TIA,

Glad it helped.

You are right about that in some ways it is more simple to use an allready existing extension for your VWG applications, and that does put all the heavy work on the developer, while it keeps it more simple at the deploy sites.

You choose what you want to do... if you're ok with it this way, then that's fine. If you wnat to take it further and find out why it didn't work with the .wgx extension, then that's fine too and we'll help you as much as we can to find out...

Palli
