    Download file name does not support Portuguese characters 
    Download file name does not support Portuguese characters
     
    When I download a file using a gateway appears the download dialog to Open/Save/Cancel options. In this dialog the property file ‘Name:’ appears with strange characters replacing the Portuguese characters. For example, if file name is “Aplicação.doc” the file name are converted to “Aplicação.doc”.
    What could be doing this?

    Hi,

    It sounds  like the browser may have changed the downloaded file name’s characters somehow.
    Can you please create a simple html sample with an HREF to a this same file (with the same Portuguese name) and see if the filename stays the same or being changed as you described.

    I have created a simple html sample with an HREF to a this same file (with the same Portuguese name) and the filename stays the same.
     
    My html sample are the following:
     
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Your Page Title</title>
    <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=C:\Aplicação.doc"></HEAD>
    <BODY>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
