Re: Optional DatePicker and Money Controls
Really, please fix your email notification system. I just received another two failed notification messages... I will receive another two after this message. Very annoying.

Re: Optional DatePicker and Money Controls
Hello,

We currently have no such video or article to how you how this should be done. The wrapped controls I referenced you to are rather easy to understand. Much effort has been put into the creation and the internal documentation of these controls to allow users to quickly understand how they work.

I'm sorry you feel this way about our documentation. I'd like to remind you that we are an open-source project, and though you call our SDK a 'product', we currently provide it free of charge.

We are doing our best to provide our community users the best service we can, and use comments like yours, that request specific enhancements and improvements from us, to get a feel of how to better apply our resources.

I have sent a request to the head of our 'User Experience' department to add an article on how to wrap controls created by 3rd party groups, as a VWG control.

If you have any other comments or improvement suggestions, please post them, as we would love to get more input from the field.

Regards,

Ori Cohen

Re: Optional DatePicker and Money Controls
Hello,

About the 'Message Delivery Failure' messages, we get them also, in great numbers if I may add.
We are currently investigating the cause for this.

Please bare with us for a while, while we work on fixing this.

Regards,

Ori Cohen

Re: Optional DatePicker and Money Controls
I'm sorry, I looked at a number of the code files and it wasn't self explanatory to me.

Can you direct me to a specific example that you might consider easy and well documented that would help me? Or better yet, might you come up with a generic set of instructions our if you like "How to" instructions for wrapping 3rd party controls?

That would be a tremendous help.

As for the email message failures, I can only imagine the number of these messages you receive. Good luck on that and I'll bear with my 2 messages per my response or user response to subscribed topics that I receive.

The NullableDateTimePicker is an interesting implementation of this feature. It seems to me to be overly complicated to achieve what I want. All I want is to allow the user to enter nothing or display a database date field that is blank. The checkbox is a little distracting to me, but the project would help to implement a homegrown solution. I was more wondering if there were any built-in options.

I completely agree with you and have asked for this very same thing in the past. The checkbox is a very poor design. Users will see the date much quicker than acknowledge the state of the checkbox since what they're looking for is a date. Either show a date or do NOT show a date.
