“An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line 66
Char:263
Error: Object required
Code:0

Download
When I try to download a file with 100MB (or more), the download hangs after a few seconds and appears the page “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”. This error does not appear when running directly from VStudio, only appears in production site.

I am using version VWG6.2.0 with option <UseFlashForUploadMode="Off"/>

Re: Upload/download big files

Hello,

I was not able to reproduce the problem you reported under the current VWG framework development-version.

I'd need you to create the most minimal sample application you can, that would reproduce this problem, then send it to support [at] visualwebgui [dot] com, with a link to this forum thread.

Please also reply to this post after sending the application so I'd know to check for it.

Regards,

Re: Upload/download big files

Hi Izi,

The problem don't happen when we run from VStudio. Just happen in production site.

You can try to upload/download a file in this site:

http://egrou.ahp.pt

Enter with the following info:

Vault: Testes

User: guest

Pwd: <empty>

Upload a file

1. Click menu "Application/Import"

2. Select "Not Classified" in Document Type

3. Click in "..." button to upload file

4. Click in "Ok" button

Download a file

1. Select "Document" tab

2. Browse in tree to "Documents\Recently Access"

3. Select a file in documents list, and with right click popup menu select "CopyOut"

Regards.

Rui

Re: Upload/download big files

Hi Rui,

I will try to upload/download from your site and see if I get the error(s).

A few questions:

a) You did mention that you were running VWG version 6.2.0. Have you considered upgrading to 6.2.4? There is really a lot of fixes that have been fixed since the unstabilized major version 6.2.0 came out !

b) Can you assemble those portions from your code that do the upload/download to a minimal sample application and make available to us ?

c) What Visual Studio version are you using?

d) What version of operating system and IIS are you using for you app?

Re: Upload/download big files

Hi Palli,

You can try download a file with name "zip" with 160MB that I put in "Documents\Workspace\My Documents".

a) I will try to upgrade to v6.2.4. Why not upgrade to V6.3? V6.3 are not stable?

b) As sson has I have tiem, I will create an project sample with upload/download.

c) I am using VStudio2005.

d) In production site I have Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0 and .NET2.0.

(code are developed in WindowsXP Pro, VStudio2005, and .NET2.0)

Tks.

Rui
