DatePicker with Manual User Entry

Hi,

Is there any way to achieve a textbox where users can enter their own date value OR click on a little button and get the DateTimePicker?  Is the DateTimePicker text field meant to be read-only?  How can I achieve this functionality?  I want my users to be able to select a date using the Picker, but if they want to enter a date on their own, I want to give them that ability.

Also, will there ever be a new DateTimePicker or some other control that will allow you to change years as easily as you can change the month?

Thanks!

Re: DatePicker with Manual User Entry

DateTimepicker allow manual entry.  Just click on the datepart you want to change and type on your keyboard.

Build 6.4 review 1 will allow year navigation as stated in this issue.
