Re: Use RANOREX for acceptance-testing

Hi Ori,

sorry, I'm a real nerd ;-)
I had some textboxes with Unique-IDs. In the DOM I actually looked at the input-controls which do not have the CUID attribute. I now saw, that this attribute is applied to the DIV-tag which contains the actual controls (and which has a VWG_XXX ID).

There is only one problem, which is sitting right in front of my computer ;-)

Best regards & thanks for your help

Kristof

Re: Use RANOREX for acceptance-testing

Hello Kristof,

I am glad you were able to find these CUIDs.

Yup, they are on the the actual HTML elements the contain the entire contents of each control.

The prefix is indeed "VWG_" for Visual WebGui components. There are other elements with "VWG..." (without '_' in their ID). These are VWG internars and are not useful to you in any way.

There are also several HTML elements that can occur only once per application like "VWG_BodyContent" that contains all the Visual WebGui content on the MainForm. These elements are not Visual WebGgui components but still exist on the application and all have a "VWG_" prefix to their ID.

Regarding the problem you are describing, it does not sound like someting I can report to our issue tracker...
