the applications run as they supposed to except with a little problem from IE 7

Now I am getting this intead,

System.Web.HttpException: The component does not handle gateway requests [action='OpenFile'].

Re: IIS
Hi !

Hmm, you kind of imply that you had it working allright under XP, but if that's not the case, I would have voted for that you had not implemented the necessare interface on your mainform (the one in the gateway reqeust) to handle gateway requests ?

Re: IIS

Thanks Palli,

Would you care to elaborate?

Actually most of the WEBGUI GUI-interfaces are not complete, one has to hard-code the rest of most GUIs, for example among others, if one needed to add an image to a PictureBox, one has to add the path and the file manually, because the the link button in the gui (...) stops at unknown "Directory", and no further dialogue is presented to the designer.

I still appreciate the help youguys are providing.

Thanx,

Bas

Re: IIS
Hi !

Regarding the PictureBox problem with the "image browser", there is an open issue in Gemini for that, see HERE scheduled for VWG version 6.4.

The problem arises when you have more than one project in your solution, the image browser in all projects default to browse the image folder of the last project you added to your solution. Knowing that (it that is your case), could help you work around it.

Re: IIS

Thanks Palli,

Thanks for the link and your valuable assistance.  Would you recommend that I use WEBGUI 6.1 version instead of  6.2 for my next projects?
