trackbar valuechanged event

I try to use trackBar. I add the ValueChanged eventhandler and just run the program. When i change the track it is caught by the ValueChanged event. But the value of the track is always same. It always takes the max value of the tracks range.

Is there a problem or am i missing something?

Hello,

I cannot reproduce the problem you reported over VWG v6.2.4.
Please download this sample application here and tell me if you see the values change when you move the TrackBar's knob position.
If the link is broken, you will be able to find the application in this issue here by thread ID 24271.

If this application does not work for you (it reproduces the problem), you are probably experiencing a caching problem. Please remove all browser cache (temporary internet files) from your browser.

Please also remove VWG server cache in the following way: Go to %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET on your local workstation. Perform a file search in this folder for "Gizmox.*.dll". Delete all the files that you find. Make sure that you stop all the IIS and Visual Studio web servers before attempting to delete. You should also increment the private version in your VWG application project, by opening the property page of the project, opening the General tab and updating the "Private version" field.

i downloaded your code.

it did not worked. then i followed the steps below.

* i erased my ie cache (in browser and by using free internet eraser both)

* i searched %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET directory for Gizmox.*.dll and deleted all of the result by stopping IIS

* in project properties there were no general tab but i found the private version in Web.config and i incremented it from 2 to 3.

* and i run rebuild the application and run the application again. But the trackbar always gets the value 100.

Hello,

Please uninstall VWG v6.2.4 and install VWG v6.3.6a from this location here.
It is a much newer, more complete and more stable version of VWG.

Even though this should work perfectly on VWG v6.2.4, I guess that the move to VWG v6.3.6a would change the controls being used and the foundation on which this is run, so it would work correctly.

Please reply with the results.

I downloaded 3 versions and those events happened.

1) VWG_SDK_6.3.6_NET3.5.msi
       * In designer it says : Designer is not available in community SDK. In 6.2.4 there is no such a message.
       * trackbar is not running correctly again. I have cleared the cache and delete the dll s from system\microsoft.net and incremented the private version number

2 ) VWG_Express_Studio_6.3.6_NET3.5.msi
       *Designer is not available again, Visual Webgui Expression edition requires visual web developer 2008 express edition
        I have visual web developer 2008 express edition. but designer not works.

       * trackbar is not running correctly again.

3 ) VWG_Professional_Studio_6.3.6_NET3.5.msi (30 day trial)
       * Designer is available now with this version will be expired in 29 days.
       * trackbar is not running correctly again.

I have visual studio 2008 version 9.0.30729.1 SP and .net framework 3.5 SP1 and Silverlight 3.0 beta runtime and tools

and web developer 2008 express edition.

Because being a free user, i use the last stable version Setup_SDK_Net3.5_6.2.4.msi.
