Fixing Issue VWG-4277

Hello there,

I'm having big problems with this tabOrder issue support.visualwebgui.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx. I noticed that it somehow depends on the way you placed controls in designer, because some user controls don't have this problem. Question is is there any way to resolve it using VWG sources without moving to 6.4? I use Visual Studio 2008 .NET 3.5, VWG 6.3.12

Thanks in advance

Re: Fixing Issue VWG-4277

Hello Edmundas,

Please create the most minimal sample application you can, with the two type of UserControls as you suggest, and send it to Support [at] VisualWebGui [dot] com with a link to this forum thread.
One user control that demonstrates the problem and one on which it does not occur.
Please also clean the solution before compressing it and reply to this post after sending, with the subject of the e-mail you send, so I would know to check for your support request.

Hello there,

we've solved this problem by creating a workaround. Case closed.

Hello Edmundas,

I am glad you were able to create a workaround for this.

I would still much appreciate it if you could please send us a sample application with the two types of UserControls. This sounds like something that we really want to fix. Please help us out here.

Re: Fixing Issue VWG-4277

At the moment our schedule is werry tight and I won't be able to create a sample app. But you have one sample in gemini issue tracker. After more testing I've noticed, that tab stops, when we have a user control placed inside another user control. Hope this helps.

Edmundas
