Gail did you get the email I sent regarding this error?
I found the exception was thrown where the "powerded by webgui" bitmap is being loaded
The bitmap load is returning a null
It seems to be an issue of pathing to the resources differently in winforms mode versus web app mode
I tried coding in a direct path, that still returned null on the load

Hi Bill,
No, I didn't get your email but in any case I would ask you to continue our correspondence via this forum so that other members of the community who have encountered similar phenomena can benefit and/or contribute.
It will take me a few days to get back to you. We have received a few inquiries on this feature and I would like to investigate it in more depth.

Hi,
I have opened a new item in the issue tracker which you can follow here regarding the problem when running the the Catalog sample in 2 in 1 mode. You should be able to create a 2 in 1 project with another VWG application in the meantime.
