Can't run a silver web page .swgx

Hi all,

this is the first time im trying to use WebGUI.

I'm trying to create a very simple silverlight app that contains only a button to test if it run fine...

Everything works fine with the .wgx extension, but when i try the swgx one i get the following error on startup:

Microsoft JScript runtime error: Unhandled Error in Silverlight 2 Application The type initializer for 'Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.ThemeManager' threw an exception.   at Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.ThemeManager.ApplyTheme(FrameworkElement objFrameworkElement)
   at Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.Controls.BindablePanel..ctor()
   at Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.Controls.BindableDockPanel..ctor()
   at Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.Controls.BindableDialogPanel..ctor()

I have Silverlight 2 SDK Beta 2 installed

Anyone have a clue about what is wrong?

An update on the problem;

i get the error that i described in IE7.

When i put Firefox as the default browser i get no JS error but the silverlight page display a loading circle that hangs at 100% (and i get only a white screen and in the status bar it keeps on saying transfering data from localhost...)

Please help!

I've installed the update of silverlight that windows update recommended... Now i dont have the error when loading but all i get is a blank page and if i right click on it i see "Silverlight configuration".

Hrm this is bugging me!!

I do have similar issue with IE7 and FF3 - with installed Silverlight 2 SDK and VWG Silverlight SDK 6.1.4 on VS2008, I build a very simple one form application with few labels and try to run it. the result - empty white page (.swgx) with embedded Silverlight viewer. Same happens when I try to view Silverlight demos off the VWG site.

Is VWG compatible with Silverlight 2 at his point?
