Silverlight 3

Microsoft is planning to launch Silverlight 3 and its Expression Studio 3 family of designer tools on July 10 in San Francisco, company officials said on May 28.

Are you planning any changes to VWG Silverlight to match the released version?

Hi jay,

We plan to use the new silverlight version as soon as possible.

We are wating for the release to see how it will affect us.
I can even say that we are looking at how to use expression studio with our theme designer and silverlight controls.
But more on this in time. :-)

Hi Eyal,

Did you check Silverlight 3 RTW already? I cannot get Silverlight to work on my machine (Vista x64 SP1 / Visual Studio 2008 SP1 / Silverlight 3 RTW / Silverlight 3 SDK / VWG 6.3.8)... I downloaded the latest Catalog MSI, but I have a blank screen...

Hello Ernstjan,

Please follow the instructions in this article here, to learn what you need to do in-order to develop VWG applications that would use MS Silverlight 3 as a presentation layer successfully.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem as Ernstjan, and I've followed the instructions in the recommended article to the letter, and on two different machines.

Vista x64 SP1, Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and 6.3.8 for .NET 3.5, Silverlight 3...

Does anyone have any experience of getting this configuration to work, i.e. not just show a blank screen?
