Visual WebGui Packager

I just downloaded the latest Silverlight SDK for VWG. I am now getting this error:

"A valid containing solution must be specified, please select a solution file"

So I select my solution file and I get the following error:

"Could not create the application package. Error System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file...."

I tried this by even create a new visual web gui silverlight app and got the same error.

Are there instructions on the Visual Web GUI Packager?

Hi,

I had a similar problem, and after reading the C:\WINDOWS\system32\Gizmox\Silverlight\Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.Packaging.exe.config, I realized that I didn't have the Silverlight SDK installed.

So, I went and got the Silverlight 2 SDK Beta 2 from MS. After installing that, the sample VWG silverlight app worked just fine.

Hopefully, the forthcoming docs, right guys ;), will tell us all about this mind blowing feature :D

Hi,
First thing what you need is all this 3 instaled:
1. Silverlight 2 beta 2 from MS.
2.VWG 6.1.1 SDK.
3. VWG Silverlight 6.1.1 SDK beta.

When you have all this 3 you compile a VWG Silverlight app and the packager will create the XAP files of you application.
You can see how it works here.

What is the full error that your geting?
What files are missing?

I have all 3 of those installed and for some reason when it is not giving me the error any more but when I try to run it as a silverlight app by changing to .swgx, it just gives me a blank silverlight screen.
