No Silverlight Project Templates VS2008

Hi,

Just installed everything...

SDK.Community 6.1.1a_NET35

SDK.Silverlight.6.1.1a_NET35

and Silverlight 2.0

Catalog sample works from vs2008

If I go to file->New-> project there are no silverlight webgui project templates listed just

Visual WebGui Application, VisualWebGui Library, Visual WebGuiclient

If I try to repair SDK_Silverlight_6.1.1a_net35 (SDK.Silverlight.msi) I get error note

This VVG/Silverlight DKS version requires VWG version 6.1.1. for .net 2.0 or .net 3.5...

What should I do?

Hello,

Please uninstall the templates and then reinstall the templates and see if you get the "Visual WebGui Silverlight Application" template in Visual Studio.

Hello Again!

I found that indeed in the main "Visual C#" and "Visual Basic" template categories, you don't get the "Visual WebGui Silverlight Application" template, though if you got to the sub-category "Visual WebGui", you'll find it there.

I opened a new issue on this subject here. Please use it to track our progress.

Hi Guys,

I think you have to uninstall the silverlight tools beta 2.0 then install the VWG silverlight SDK then install the silverlight tools beta 2.0 again.

Hello Alistair!

The discussed templates are VWG templates. They are not affected by MS Silverlight installations.

The fix for this issue is already available for you now in VWG v6.1.2 here.
