Error in Silverlight application building

Hi,

I installed SDK.Community 6.1.1a_NET35, SDK.Silverlight.6.1.1a_NET35 and Silverlight 2.0 in VS2008

I created Visual WebGUI Siverlight application. I placed simple controls on Form.

When I had tried to Compile it, the following error occured.

Error 1 The command "md "C:\WebGUI\Projects\Sample\Sample\ClientBin"
"%windir%\System32\Gizmox\Silverlight\Gizmox.WebGUI.Silverlight.Packaging.exe" "C:\WebGUI\Projects\Sample\Sample\Sample.csproj" /silent" exited with code -1073741819. Sample

Did I miss in configuration ?

Hello,

I need to gather some more information from you in order to be able to help you fix this problem.
This is what I need:

I need to know if the VWG application you are trying to compile is a new application created over v6.1.1 or an older on upgraded to this new version. If older, please specify what versions it went through.
I need to know if you use templates from older versions or updates ones to v6.1.1.
I need the "Themes" and "SilverlightPackages" sections of your Web.config file.
I need the entire contents of the Deployment.config file that resides in the "Properties" folder in your solutions.

Please reply to this post with this information that I have requested, and I'll be happy (and able) to help...

I had the same problem. Fresh WebGui (6.1.1) on VS2008. Is there a solution for this issue?

Hi,

I found the cause of this issue in this forum. I did not realize that there was a separate "Microsoft Silverlight Tools Beta 2 for Visual Studio 2008" package. which is http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=50A9EC01-267B-4521-B7D7-C0DBA8866434&displaylang=en

Hi,

I had the "Microsoft Silverlight Tools Beta 2 for Visual Studio 2008" installed before. I deinstalled and installed it again - same problem. Are there any other suggestions?
