The page cannot be found
I have created a vwg application that I want to host locally in IIS to be able to profile its performance with ANTS. I'm not able to host the application in a Virtual PC image with Windows 2003 installed. I created a new virtual directory and registered the wgx extension. When I navigate to the page, then I get the error message "The page cannot be found". What could be wrong?

Re: The page cannot be found
Did you remember to clear the check "Verify that file exists" when you defined the .wgx extension ?

Re: The page cannot be found
Well, I just installed a fresh 2003 server last weekend  with VWG 6.1.4 application running and had no problems.

After installing everything needed for the Win 2003 server with IIS running and the necessary .NET runtimes, those are the major issues involved:

- Make sure you have all the Gizmox DLL as "copy local" = true
- When virtual folder has been created in IIS, right click on the folder, go to properties and select "Create application".
- Make sure the "Ececution permission" is Script only
- Go to configure button and make sure the .wgx extension can be found.
- Also make sure the .wgx is referencing the correct ASP.NET version (should be v2.0.50727) if not correct change in the ASP tab where the version should be v2.0.50727 of ASP.NET.

Are all those correct ?

Re: The page cannot be found

Yes I did that all. I was able to make it working on another machine though with the same steps :(

The only thing that is different is that the context which is not working is a VPC.
