Re: Visual Web GUI 6.2.0a not work
Hi Pasquale,

Firstly welcome to the VWG community :)

One question first, when you right click on the blank page what do you get?

1. A JS error is thrown.
2. You get [Silverlight Configuration] context menu.
3. Nothing

This will give me an idea when exactly your application fails.

Hi,

I have the same problem, when I run http://samples.visualwebgui.com/MainForm.swgx on Silverlight 2 RC0 and now on Silverlight 2 RTW. Silverlight application was started (progress bar), I get [Silverlight Configuraton] context menu, but I've white screen.

Re: Visual Web GUI 6.2.0a not work

Hi, thanks for reply...

I get Silverlight Configuration context menu on a blank page... No JS error.

Note: VWG work fine with .wgx extension!!! SL2.0 RC0 work fine.

Best regards

Re: Visual Web GUI 6.2.0a not work

OK Guys,

1. You should have MS Silverlight SDK 2 beta 2.
2. Try to clean-up the browser's cache by deleting files.
3. Delete all the files named Gizmox.*.dll from the ASP.NET temporary folder:
"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files"

In case this doesn't work, I will need you to look within the ClientBin and examine the packed ".xap" files more closely... More specifically I will need you to open each xap file (which is actually a zip file) and specify its contents: file names and the contents of the xml file AppManifest.xaml. You should be able to find each dll file name which is contained within the xap in the AppManifest.xaml.

I suspect that the system will not be there, please post in this thread the names of the dlls which you find within the xap files.

Regards,
Itzik Spitzen
