Hi There,

A Question, in the vs toolbox, i have the wgx controls, this are the "normal" controls, and about the silverlight controls?
I need a litle explanation about them.

Re: Silverlight controls

Hi Jorge,

Silverlight and DHTML are presentation layers. For the standard VWG controls, there is no (or a minimal) difference between the controls, wether you are going to use .wgx or .swgx presentation. Most of time you don't even have to think about which presentation you will be using.

The only difference is how you deploy and that you access the pages with either .wgx or .swgx.

Hope this answers your question.

Palli

Re: Silverlight controls

Hi Palli,

IT helped for start, i'm clarify in that point. Now, i need help on running this.

When i try to run the application in silverlight v3, it doesn't open. What i did? on the WEB pannel on the project properties, told it to open frm_main.swgx instead of .wgx

Also enabled the silverlight and added the silverlight router .dll, But, the logon form doesn't show and get a blank page.
What's the next step?

Jorge,

Re: Silverlight controls

Palli,

For application A, i've managed to make it work +/- good, but it doesn't move forward from the logon form. in this APP the logon form appears, but when it get authenticated (context......islogged = true) it doesn't go to the main form, but if i go directly in the browser and change the link to the frm_main.swgx i can see (the) silver(light) ! :)

Here there's a print of what i see in the midle, maybe this is something related why it doesn't go on, on the logon form to the main one:

see and tell me what to do, to which control it may be refering?

Re: Silverlight controls

Hi Jorge,

Glad to know that you finally see the light :-)

First, your logonform issue. This is a known open issue and you can track it here.

About your second issue, then what Gizmox DLL's do you have referenced in your project? You might try to add Gizmox.WebGUI.Forms.Office and see if that fixes it.

If it does not, I think you should send your app to support and have us take a look. That removes all the guesswork out of the equation :-)
