Hourglass
Modified By derekmhart@yahoo.com on 5/28/2009 12:44:48 AM)

I notice that VWG automatically has a spinning control in the upper right hand corner when tasks are happening. Can I activate this myself and/or what is a method I could do when I have a sql operation that might take 5 seconds and then a couple more seconds of screen updating happens?

Re: Hourglass

Hi Derek,

This is just my idea.. I would try a popup form that alerts that a longer operation is in effect.  I'm not sure we have control of the spinning "hourglass".

Re: Hourglass

Hi guys,

Seems to me that you are getting a solution in 6.4, based on this issue here.

Re: Hourglass

So that means I have no easy way to do this yet? Just hope the user doesn't click the screen while something takes a few seconds?

Re: Hourglass

That's right

Keep in mind VWG is still in development.
