Problems with DateTimePicker and TextBox on a DataViewGrid.Panel

Problems with Distemper and Text Box on a Datagram.Panel.

It seems that both the Distemper and Text Box on a Datagram.Panel don't behave as expected. IE their values don't become visible in their sender unless then loose focus by a users click. Programmaticly moving focus does not complete whatever internal process they require.(at lease in my work)

Does anyone know of an event that will trigger these controls to finalize themselves?

My problem is I have a DVG requiring different controls in each column. Also the user needs to be able to freely move about the grid and using a keystroke or enter automatically edit each control type

Re: Problems with DateTimePicker and TextBox on a DataViewGrid.Panel

Hi David,

I'm not sure if I understand correctly what you are talking about here and this "Datagram" I'm unsure about too.

Guessing, which I hate to do, I take it that you are talking about using the KeyDown, KeyPress or KeyUp event handlers here and you do not see the final value of the control within those events. If that is true, then yes, this is a known problem and the closest we have to a workaround at the moment is written in this tracker entry here. This possible workaround only applies to textbox and if you require it for many other controls then we don't have any posted workarounds for other controls at the moment.
