Web Look and Feel

Hi,

We have a deployed 6.4 b WinWeb application. Our customer has questioned why it doesnt have the looka nd feel epected these days of a web application. On close questioning this means to them:

1. Roll-over effects on lnks and buttons

2. Data entry forms highlight the current textbox.

We have implemented themes and suppose that with some further XLST manipulation we could achieve this.

Is there any guidance on how to do this?

Regards

Richard

Re: Web Look and Feel

 Dear Richard

I think that none of our present themes can fully satisfy your customer.

We have, however, in our Themes Project three themes that, out of the box, may provide a web feeling – 'Analytics', 'Facebook' and 'Gmail'.

We are planning to create a Web 2.0 (Content centered GUI) theme for our system which will, hopefully, provide a better match to your requirements.

The new Web 2.0 theme is expected to be our default theme for the .NETHTML5 branch and in order to create this theme we need to make infrastructure developments meant to take place in the immediate future.

As the company visual designer I promote this development as forcefully as I can and hope for prompt results.
