Hi Guys,

I installed Express Studio for VS 2010 on my PC which I normally use for VS 2008

After un-installing the Express versions if I open a form in the designer in VS2008 I get a message

"Visual WebGUI Express Edition Requires Visual WebDeveloper 2008 Express Edition."

I have cleaned everything, tried reinstalling VS 2008 and VWG and also  restoring my PC to an earlier restore point  but nothing so far has fixed the problem.

Any ideas please?

The About box shows Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008   91605-270-1912053-60529

Hi Palli,

I completed steps 7 and 8 and the installer says it installed OK but the problem still exists.

When I looked at the log file it shows errors so I will email the log file to you.
