Re: Express Studio for VS 2010

Hi Jay,

Quick looks at your log file, there's nothing serious I can see that may explain this.

The most likely reason I can think of is that there is still a Gizmox designer DLL laying around somewhere (in the GAC, in Path or in the project) that's originated from the Express version, but I don't get it how a VS2010 Express installation can interfere with VS2008 Professional.

I will check tomorrow if this may be license related, and that installing VS2010 express might have changed the license. Not sure if it will, but that's about the only idea I have right now. Can you see if the licensing filemay have changed during these express installations, by using this article here to locate the file ?

Re: Express Studio for VS 2010

Hi Palli,

It was indeed Licence related probably as I asked Ori to deactivate my licenses as I was having trouble with my laptop.

Searching my PC I found 2 VWG  .LIC files one of which got copied during the  Express install.

Deleting the file and reactivating solves the problem.

Many thanks for your help

Jay

Re: Express Studio for VS 2010

Hi Jay,

Really glad to hear that you problem is solved. You can always email support if you have problems reactivating, as we (me an Ori) are both watching that mailbox for such messages.

I trust that you let us know if your problem is not solved.

Palli
