Security Hack Exposes Forms Authentication in ASP.NET

 http://visualstudiomagazine.com/articles/2010/09/14/aspnet-security-hack.aspx

Is this something to worry about in combination with VWG?

Best regards,

Tom

Re: Security Hack Exposes Forms Authentication in ASP.NET

Hello Tom,

The current implementation of the Visual WebGui framework does not save cookies of any kind on the client machines.
As Visual WebGui is based on MS ASP.NET, it allows saving cookies in the same way that pure ASP.NET applications would.
There are many security holes to consider in 3rd party technologies, and as always you should be careful.
