Hi Kenn,
Yes, I can see the difference in Chrome. If I understand you correctly, then you are saying that your minimal sample app does not show these problems in Chrome and Safari, while the online site is?
If so, please make sure you follow the clear cache procedure (including uppering the private version etc.) for your online site. This does sound a lot like caching.

Hi Palli, yes the minimal app works fine with IE8, FF3, Chrome and Safari.
This problem pre-existed for me before deploying to my web site so I don't think it is a cache problem. I hope I am narrowing it down, it works as a minimal app, must be when loading data to it? (no, same problem even creating a new note)?
I would hope that some one else is also experiencing the same problem, but if not then I am doing something different that might point to the problem.
I know I have not (and really at this point cannot) supply you with enough info to help with this, but I will keep plugging away at it, I'm sure it is something really simple and easily overlooked.

Hi Kenn,
Yes, this is the only way to narrow this down... plugging the bits away, piece by piece.
A few thoughts though... I assume you made a copy of the FCKEditor folder from your older (non-working) application and used in the new one that does work. If not, you should consider updating the non-working app with the folder from your minimal working app.
Make sure your FCKEditor1.BasePath is set identically on both your applications... it should be as it's working for some browsers, but please check.
Working on a newly created app, but not on the older one, always rings the cach bells in my head. Do you use Static resources on the non-working site? Do you have Obscuring turned on in one app, but off in the other ?
I'm just pouring out the stupid questions here, just in case you get an "Aha" effect
Hope this helps,
Palli

Hi Palli, Check this out, just upgraded to 6.4 beta 2 c, now in Chrome, the control shows up (it didn't before). Still getting strange beharivour, the control is not sizing correctly, but definately a step in the right direction.

Hello again, even stranger if you wait a few minutes, it sizes correctly (I think if you play with the scroll bars and then click in the control, I don''t know how to quite describe it, but hopefully you can try it yourself by going to www.kennware.com, select the Engage tab, click on the sample Engage application at the bottom of the page, Tools menu, List All Notes, right click, view note). So now it doesn't work with Safari (it just spins like it is an a loop), but does with IE, FF and Chrome. I realize this is a 3rd party control but I cannot get a handle on just what part of this is not working (actually it looks like like if you click in control once it is dispayed it resizes correctolly( . I was (pleasantly ) surprised that upgrading to 6.4 beta 2 c made a diffirence.
