Ribbon Bar?

Is there a way to have a drop-down menu within the ribbon bar?

Thanks, Joe

Re: Ribbon Bar?

Drop Down Buttons are supported,

you have to create a contect menu first, and the assign it to the drop down button.

From the graphic designer select the Ribbon, after that -

Pages, Select the group, u will see an "Add" button which is Drop Down button and one of the options is to add a Drop Down Button on the Ribbon. It has a "DropDownMenu" property which determines the context menu to be displayed.

Just tried it but everytime I click a menu choice the menu text appears in a dialog box.  How do I get rid of that dialog box?  I put a click event but my message appeared after the other dialog box.

Thanks, Joe

While they are in there do you think it would be possible to make the drop down look a little better.  What I mean is currently the down-arrow is not below the text but to the right and positioned higher than the text.  Does not look good!

Also, is there any way to allow us to change the width of the group?  That way we can size it depending on the size of our text.  Currently, most of my text gets chopped off below the icon.

Also, while I am asking, how about allowing us to specify text underneath the toolbar button within the flow layout section of a ribbon bar.  The text can be a small font.  I just need to be able to add options like F1, F2, F3, etc.

I was able to accomplish this in 6.3 but 6.4 crunches all of the toolbar buttons together and on top of each other.  6.3 had a space between each row and I was able to place a label control within the space.

Thanks, Joe
