Next Beta

When next beta is going to be available ?

I use this framework and plan to deploy several customer websites implemented in it. That`s why I`m interested - if it`s going to be soon I`ll wait for it and deploy directly with Beta 1d or whatever it is. In other case I`ll probably stick to the current one available.

Re: Next Beta

Hi Johnny,

I saw this quote from Navot in one of the posts last days:

As to the shipping of 6.4 Beta 2 and RC – Ori description is quite detailed and accurate, however he misses the point. Beta 2 WILL BE SHIPPED 17 / 3 / 10 and RC is scheduled to be shipped a month after that – 3rd week of April 2010

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Johny,

Tom is correct on everything but that the quote was Itzik's

Please realize that current 6.4 versions are still Beta versions, and then next Beta will still be a beta. As such, it is not recommended for life websites, rather for testing and seeing what is coming in the next released version. Of course this is sufficient for some websites, but still I thought I should mention it.

Re: Next Beta

Hi Lufe,

The Beta2 was compiled for QA team sanity and basic testing last night and depending on their results, I hope it will be ready for the beta testers group very soon after the weekend.

I am very optimistic that the QA and beta testing processes will be smooth, as the QA team has actively been retesting every issue fixed on Beta2 the past few weeks, reporting every problem not completely fixed, which then have been fixed (again).
