Thanks for the nice responses :-)

Of course this is based on the dynamic generated and compiled data structures. This to be as free as possible on the type of data access.. Like explained in previous posts. Also the components build like the grids and the edit/view 'controls' are really ending up as controls a they are generated by a asp.net type code generator. This code is stored in the database and compiled on the fly for use in the framework. This part had me held up quite a while as I want to be able to 'define' instead of develop the final application.

So this is partly a tool but on the other hand it is the framework that knows how to handle this all.

This far I am am quite happy with the results , just a small 2 weeks behind schedule :-)  But eventually all walls I am banging into will come down and the speed will pick up from then.. I am also very pleased with the working devexpress grid, although this is still the 'simple' implementation. Have to see what it does and how it reacts when it gets a bit more bloated.

So again. please share idea's, comments, code. as I still intend to release this as open source when final.
After the initial release I have a hack of a re-factory job to do as it is not as 'loose' as I want it yet! But the ideas are in place and ready to be implemented!!  Far from done so to speak.

With kind regards,

Re: MEF/VWG CEM framework

Wow Michael verry impressive!

Nice to see you got the grid integrated, is this code allready on codeplex?

I'm interested in the on the fly compiling. i like to have a look at that.

Keep on doing the good work!

groeten,

Tom

Re: MEF/VWG CEM framework

Are you using VWG 6.4 P1 Ajax wrapper for devexpress grid ?

I need to wrapper a better ComboBox.

Re: MEF/VWG CEM framework

@Tom.  I am afraid the code is not really to get out in the public. I have no Comments and not all is that logical written. So I want to 'fix' this and build up some more stuff before I will realease. It is not that easy to publish as the source dir is already 250Mb. (lot's of compiled dll's :-( Will come back on this issue later !!!

@Alexnaldo. No this is done with the VWG 6.3.7a version.
