DataGridView - RowHeadersVisible Bug

Hi,

I'm not sure if this bug has already been reported...

If you have a DataGridView inside a panel (I have one inside a TabControl), and you position the DGV at x=0 and you set RowHeadersVisible=False, the DGV seems to be positioned from the left side with extra space.  I think this extra space is where the RowHeader column would have gone.  So if you want your DGV to truly be lined up with the left side of the panel, you have to set it to a negative X value at design-time.

Thanks!

Re: DataGridView - RowHeadersVisible Bug

Hi Danny,

I tested this scenario and I can see the text in the columnheader with a space in front, but I can not see this in the DataGridView itself. It seems to be located all the way to the left.

The above is valid for 6.2.4 and 6.3.14, but in 6.4.0Beta2, the default alignment of the columnheader is left, so it's all the way to the left too.

Maybe I'm missing something?

Palli
