The ReportViewer does nor render anymore. I see the Top control Bar, the buttons are displayed as a box with a red dot inside...nothing else, not even an error to have an idea...I tried everithig, any possible setting

Please could you help me, it's urgent. Thank you very much!

Re: URGENT - ReportViewer

Hi Giuliano C,

Have you already and sucessfully deployed to a different server version than 2008 server / IIS7 ?

What version of ReportViewer are you using, meaning, is it version 8 (VS2005), version 9 (VS2008) or version 10 (VS2010) ?

In any case, what comes to mind straight away is either the fact that ReportViewer is not installed in the GAC of the IIS7 server, or that you have not made the necessary changes that seem to be required for ReportViewer on IIS7, see here and here.

Hope this helps,

Palli

Re: URGENT - ReportViewer

Thank you for your reply.

I have already deployed projects with 2003 server and IIS6, with ReportViewer.

I am using ReportViewer 10 and VS2010.

I checked the link you gave me, but still the same problem. If I deploy the Project on 2003/IIS6 it's OK. What I see is like the image on the second link.

Thank you for your help

Giuliano C

Re: URGENT - ReportViewer

Hi Giuliano C,

Not sure if it helps in your case, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Have you tried or applied the workaround for setting the ReportPath within the HostedPageLoad event handler ? If not, please view the links on our ReportViewer page and see if it helps.

If this does not apply or doesn't help, I think I will need a simple reproducing sample application from you where I can reproduce. In that case, please create the most minimal reproducing sample application, clean it, zip it and then email it to the support email address (see my signature). Please include in that email the full Http reference to this thread and also please post here on this thread when you have sent it.

For this case, please include a simple report, preferably not databound. If it needs to be databound, please have it use the NorthWind sample database so I will be able to run the application.

Re: URGENT - ReportViewer

Hi

Yes I did ReportPath within the HostedPageLoad event handler.

I am sending you a very small project with the reportviewer. It does not need data connection, it works well on 2003/IIS6 and on visual studio 2010, but not on IIS7.

Please let me know

Giuliano C.
