Re: stange eventhandler behaviour on mobile browsers

Hi Ori,

Thanks for the updated application but still a lot of questions:

- you posted it in this thread but if i'm right i cannot find anything back in the sample application about the lost focus problem, or do i overlook something?

- please review the application that Palli constructed and look at the Gemmini issue he created

- can you explain me about the logonform.aspx and the logonProxyForm.cs, why is it constructed this way?

- can you please answer my questions in this thread regarding more detailed information about the plans Gizmox has with the mobile enabled VWG version

Thanks!

Tom

Re: stange eventhandler behaviour on mobile browsers

Hello Tom,

- You are right, the application I sent to you has nothing to do with the focusing problem discussed in this thread. I simply wanted to share it with you, as a suggestion for better implementation of the original application.
- I did review Palli suggestion and tracker entry.
- The VWG LogonForm and the ASP.NET logon for are used as a suggestion for a generic logon usable for mobile applications - both Android and iOS.
- According to the roadmap, the mobile designated framework beta will become available on January 2012 - very soon. We are putting in a lot of effort to make this beta a good a possible.

Regarding the focus problem of the TextBox I would suggest (as a workaround) that you would register a Timer.Tick event that will call the Focus method of the TextBox control. Yo can register this event to occur 1.5 seconds later and there unregister the event.
Please remember to remove this workaround once the fix has been implemented.
