Re: MaskedTextbox doesn't detect CAPS LOCK

Hi Martin,

Can you share some more specifics here as I am not able to reproduce this. I tested in 6.4.0 Release c, as well as the upcoming d version in IE9 and Chrome and I'm not able to reproduce this problem.

I use 6.4.0 release C,  with IE8, and FF 8

Just drag a maskedtextbox on a form and set it's mask to  LLLLLLL

Run, then press the caps lock key to set it on.   Type letters in the maskedtextedbox.    if you type hello, you'll see hello instead of HELLO.

Hi Martin,

The mask did the trick, thanks.

Turns out we already have an open entry on this one. Please view it here and follow up on our progress.

I added a sample application and reproduction information.

Thanks for the report.

thanks but it's scheduled to be fixed in build 7.0 which mean not fixed before 2013.

You just open a new entry for a problem in the combobox about backslash getting duplicated.  This one will be fixed in release D.  I report a bug the same day I found out it will not be fixed soon.

I am sorry but it seems unfair to me.

Can you consider to reschedule please.   This bug was found by a user and I don't want to tell him I can't fix it before 2013

thanks

Martin
