Re: Intercepting property changes at design time

Hi Alex,

Preferably not... of course.

Can you email a sample project so we can take a look? This was not something I experienced with the simple SecondaryText sample I uploaded, so I need some reproducable case to see this happening.

Please email a sample application to support (see my signature) making sure to include in that email message the full Http reference to this thread. Please also post here on the thread when you have sent the email.

Re: Intercepting property changes at design time

Hi Palli,

This happens, when there are phantom controls of the same type in the form's designer generated code, I think. At least, I deleted the form and created it again and added the same kind of control anew and properties refresh is working fine now. So, to replicate, you would need to generate those phantom controls. In my case they are inherited controls. If you're still unable to reproduce this, I could create a brand new solution with this behaviour, hopefully.

Thanks,

Alex

Re: Intercepting property changes at design time

Hi Alex,

If I understand correctly, then that would be caused by a different problem which hasn't been fixed yet see here and here.

The second one has a workaround suggestion, did you already try that ?

In any case, if the propertygrid refresh is working for you when there are no phantom controls in the designer generated code, it seems to me that mission is accomplished. Please let me know if you disagree.

Re: Intercepting property changes at design time

Hi Palli,

Yes, it works fine on a form created from scratch. Thanks!

Thanks,

Alex
