Hi,

I hope you were tracking the entry I created here, as it was closed as not a bug with a "Won't fix" resolution.

The WebRole template is supposed to be hidden. The correct way to create such a project is to add a "Windows Azure Cloud Service" project and then select Visual WebGui Web Role on the next step of the Wizard.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

Thank you for the update Pali. That seems to work to create a project. However when deployed I still have the problem raised in this forum under the title Deploy to Windows Azure.
