Login Issues

Hi,

I logged in as I normally do and went to forums.

I checked my outstanding issues.

I then went back one level of breadcrumb in the issues. I looked at another issue and thought I could help (with my limited knowledge). Unfortunately I couldn't find anywhere to add to the thread. In fact, I had been logged out.

I am guessing that this may be a DNN issue with the way that the different areas have been secured.

Cheers

Re: Login Issues
Donno if it's the reason in this case, but the wrapping of text within the textbox in the forum message editor is sometimes making some buttons disappear. In read mode, you don't see all the text for some messages and in some cases you only see part of the buttons.

Good example of such a message is http://www.visualwebgui.com/Forums/tabid/364/forumid/-1/threadid/12948/scope/posts/Default.aspx.

BTW, I'm using Firefox, and in when you read this message, only part of the text shows, and as for the buttons I can see "New Thread" and a part of "My Settings", the other three buttons do not show at all.

You can get to them with some tricks though :-)  Click within the text area and then press Shift-TAB.

Annying, yes, but you can work around it.

Re: Login Issues

Hi,

You are right.

When the text in the text area is too long the reply button disappears.

Will try to do something about it.

Thanks,

Noam
