Code Snippets

Microsoft UIP2 -  MVC Application Block provides a best practice for UI components(View) and the Data Model separation. The attached code snippet contains slight adjustments of UIP2 toVisual WebGui.

Any of Microsoft's documentations and samples using this application block should suit the attached snippet as Visual WebGui exactly mimics the WinForms API and development methodologies.

All you have to do is include the projects within the zip file within your application or reference their output dlls, and use the MVC design pattern presented by Microsoft as UIP2.

Apparently the UIProcess application block has been replaced witht the Composite UI Application Block and now the Smart Client Software Factory is available for winforms and the web client software factory for web forms. I think the SMSF has far to many layers, the web client software factory is good, it might be a lot of work to get its design to work with winforms or VWG.

Apparently the UIProcess application block has been discontinued the UI, for winforms they seem to have moved to the Smart Client Software Factory and for winforms the web client software factory. I think that the SCSF has far to many layers the web client software factory. but I think the ideas in wcsf could be applied to winforms and thus to VWG.
